The 14th overall microCastle release and 3rd of 2010 comes from Canada's Paul Keeley. Paul rose to the forefront of progressive dance music in 2008 with many well-received productions that included "A Sort of Homecoming" and "Paper Jet". This paved the way for many large original and remix projects in 2009 on such high profile labels that included Anjunadeep, Audio Therapy, Morrison and Coldharbour. The Kaleidoscope EP is Paul's first appearance on microCastle and we are thrilled to have him on the label. "Flyby" is a truly classic piece of progressive house with it's glistening sun-drenched melodies, gorgeous pianos and warm soothing vibe. The EPs center piece "Kaleidoscope" is a sure fire dancefloor number with energy to spare and those unmistakable Paul Keeley chord progressions. The dark, ominous, almost apocalyptic atmosphere of "The Careful Void" closes the EP off in epic fashion. The truly remarkable thing about all of Paul's productions is that they defy age. There are never any elements which date them to a particular period of dance music, they are truly timeless pieces of music.
