PP In Cooperation With Inkfish !

Another big name on board at PP - Inkfish ! We are truly happy and proud to announce this, coz Inkfish production has been one of our favourite here at PP for quite a while now!

The production/DJ outfit Inkfish sprang to life in 1998, when the four Swedish lads Mattias Lindblom, Jesper Lindquist, Andreas Hermansson and Johan Hermansson joined forces. Dishing out a variety of electronic music the quartet have received support from all the leading DJ’s across the globe at one point or another, Laurent Garnier, Jonh Digweed, Sasha, Carl Cox, you name it. Not to much of an spectacular achievement though, considering the boys have been in the business for more then ten years.

However, even after all this time Inkfish is still a relevant addition to the global club scene, proved by several top ten hits in Beatports minimal, progressive, breaks and deep house sales charts (plus one landing at number 11 in the techno chart). And all this within the last quarter of 2009!
Few, if any production teams, can match that strike rate.
Earlier tracks like the seminal David West-collaboration “Hello Piano” graced total top 3 for five weeks, and the proggy remix of Nils Noas “Monkeybreak” stayed top 5 progressive for 9 weeks.
Earlier merits includes more than 60 compilations from places like Renaissance & Ministry of Sound and mix sessions for BBC Radio One and loads of radioshows.
We´ve also seen succesful collaborations with David West, Hardy Heller & Tomas Andersson, releases on tribal-maestros Chus & Ceballos Solar-label, Armin’s Armada label, Baroque, Tune Inn, Silver Planet, SOG, Release Records and many more.
Taking care of business behind the turntables you’ll find one half of the Inkfish moniker, the two brothers Johan and Andreas. They provide a soundtrack of groovy progressive tracks with elements of tribal and techno. They are well known to rock the dance floors wherever they appear. Their reputation has so far taken them to over 30 countries worldwide. There is no doubt that Inkfish is a heavyweight in the underground house scene.

Here you can check one of mine favourite Inkfish remixes:

Stay tuned at PP coz soon u will be able to hear lots of upcoming Inkfish & Tolerant Recordings stuff in PP exclusive promo mixes!
